Making Mends LLC is a growing local appliance repair company serving Rexburg and the surrounding area. Ready to hit the ground running? We're looking for an experienced appliance repair technician who can step into the role and begin serving customers with minimal training.
If you're already good at this work, we want to pay you accordingly. We're also willing to train the right candidate who has strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn quickly.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair residential appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, ovens, and dishwashers
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
- Install replacement parts and verify proper operation
- Provide professional, straightforward communication with customers
- Document repairs, parts used, and service information
- Manage your daily route and complete service calls independently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Compensation
$15-35+/hour depending on experience, skill, and performance
Experienced technicians can start toward the top of the range based on demonstrated ability.
Additional earning opportunities are available through commission and performance-based bonuses.

Appliance repair experience is strongly preferred, but it is not an absolute requirement. If you have strong mechanical, electrical, HVAC, automotive, maintenance, or similar experience and believe you can learn appliance repair quickly, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work independently
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to safely lift and move appliances and parts
- Ability to pass a company-paid background check and drug screen
- Full-time, year-round availability
