Front Desk Receptionist, Part-Time

Rexburg Chiropractic Center is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated person to join our team as our Front Desk Receptionist.

Our front desk is an important part of the patient experience. You’ll be the first person patients see when they walk through the door and the person who helps keep the office organized and running smoothly throughout the day.

The Position

Part-time: 3 days per week
Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Lunch: 1-hour lunch break
Schedule: Consistent, predictable weekday schedule
Holidays: Closed on all major holidays
Location: Rexburg, Idaho

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term part-time position in a professional, friendly healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

Greet patients and create a welcoming first impression
Answer phones and respond to patient questions
Schedule and confirm appointments
Check patients in and out
Maintain accurate patient information and records
Collect payments and assist with billing tasks
Verify insurance benefits and coverage
Communicate with patients regarding appointments, paperwork, and account information
Keep the front desk and reception area organized
Help maintain an efficient flow of patients throughout the day
Assist with general office tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in being the person who keeps the front office organized and running smoothly.

The right person will be:

Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients
Dependable and consistently punctual
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision
Comfortable answering phones and communicating with a variety of people
Able to multitask and stay calm when things get busy
A good problem solver who uses common sense and takes initiative
Comfortable learning new computer systems and office procedures
Looking for a stable, long-term position, rather than a temporary job

Previous medical, chiropractic, dental, or office/reception experience is preferred, but not required for the right person. We are willing to train someone who has the right attitude, work ethic, and personality.

Bonus Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

Medical or chiropractic office
Insurance verification
Medical billing
Electronic health records (EHR)
Customer service or other patient-facing positions
