With four full-service boatyards along the East Coast, one of the most talented teams of craftsmen, and a reputation built on quality, integrity, and expertise, we've become one of the most respected names in the marine industry.

We're looking for a Social Media & Marketing Manager to help tell our story.

This role is more than creating posts and managing campaigns. We're seeking someone who can capture the unique people, projects, and culture that make Bristol Marine different. From world-class yacht refits and custom fabrication projects to the everyday dedication of our crews, you'll help showcase the work happening across our facilities in a way that is engaging, professional, and authentic.

The ideal candidate combines strong creative and technical marketing skills with an appreciation for who we are as a company. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Work with the leadership team as well as outside consultants and resources to understand a promote the Bristol Marine brand through all available mediums.
Create compelling content (photos, short-form video, behind the scenes storytelling, interviews, reels, blogs) that showcases authenticity, heritage and expert craftsmanship
Lead and train designated staff in each location to assist in the the creation of marketing efforts. Including, but not limited to: social media posts, email communications, and event preparation/management.
Provide final review and quality control to all marketing materials ensuring they are of the highest quality, and capture the Bristol Marine brand accurately.
Website: assist web designers in maintaining and updating the website.
Constant Contact: use this (and/or other similar platforms) for customer and employee communications with regular emails and useful surveys, as needed.
Have lead role in planning and executing 2-3 employee events, as well as 2-3 customer events annually.
Collaborate with team members to identify underserved markets and create initiatives to expand Bristol Marine's footprint.
Customer and employee merchandise: create Bristol yard specific clothing, merchandise, etc that ties into the overall Bristol Marine brand plan.
Work with local media outlets to help us tell our story, build excitement and draw visitors to upcoming events as well as share highlights afterwards.
Refine Bristol Marine's customer database; pursue new and more effective ways of managing existing and potential leads.
Assist with logistics for trade shows.
Work 40 hours/week; overtime as needed and approved by supervisor. Work day starts at 7:00 am and ends at 3:30 pm unless otherwise specified by supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, sales management, or related field
Content creation ( photography, video, social media storytelling)
Familiarity with event marketing and audience developing strategies
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Experience managing social media and digital marketing tools
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Basic design skills ( Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
Strong writing and communication skills a plus
Passion for maritime life and history & coastal culture a plus
