Full Job Description

Join a growing team in a dynamic and fast-paced industry!

We are an established transportation and logistics company with decades of experience providing reliable solutions across the industry. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) division. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a long-term career in logistics and freight brokerage.

About the Role:
This is a sales position with full training provided. The selected candidate will learn all aspects of freight brokerage and transportation logistics. Upon completing the training period, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your own book of business by developing client relationships and offering tailored transportation solutions. Top-performing brokers have the potential to earn significant commissions based on sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional service to both internal teams and external clients.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication and responsiveness.
Prospect and generate leads through research and cold calling.
Serve as the liaison between shippers, receivers, and carriers.
Coordinate freight movements to ensure on-time pickup, transit, and delivery.
Monitor and update shipment tracking and driver location information.
Manage additional freight charges and accessorials with both customers and carriers.
Negotiate pricing and rates with clients and prospects.
Proactively resolve any carrier or delivery-related issues.

Qualifications:

Prior customer service experience is preferred.
Any exposure to the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to make outbound calls are essential.
Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn.

Compensation:

This is a salaried training position. Once you begin generating your own sales, you will transition to a commission-based structure with uncapped earning potential.
