About the Position

We are seeking a Practice Receptionist to join our busy and friendly team at our Cumberland practice. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding patient experience, guided by our HEART Values Working in a fast-paced environment, your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
Scheduling appointments and managing the patient booking system.
Accurately entering and maintaining patient information.
Processing patient billing, invoicing and payments.
Liaising with referring doctors and internal clinical teams as required.
Supporting the smooth flow of patients throughout their visit while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Previous experience in a patient-facing role within healthcare or medical reception will be highly regarded but is not essential.
