Essential Job Functions and Major Tasks:
- Assembles and tests special or custom products needing distinct assemblies or set-ups following manufacturing orders specifications. Ensures products meet customer requirements. Communicates with sales employees as needed to clarify product requirements
- Assemble cables, boards, indicators, printers, and any other products follow manufacturing orders for product assembly and pays close attention to precise details of instructions for set-up
- Assist other assembly technicians with manufacturing assemblies and testing
- Ensures close attention to precise details of instructions, electronics assembly prints and quality standards. Report any issues related to instructions or product quality
- Follows strict ESD guidelines while performing assemblies
- Maintains a safe and professional working area. Cleans work area at close of shift
- Performs accurate computer transactions while punching in and out of work orders
- Performs high reliability soldering
- Trains new and existing technicians on departmental procedures and assemblies
- Participates in electronics service/production cross-training program.
- Perform basic programming, and downloads
- Assist with the evaluation of department tooling needs
- Participates in department meetings
- May participate in product trainings
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Prerequisites:
- Associates (AA) Degree in Electronics or related electronic field or four (4) or more years of equivalent assembly experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience with RLWS electronics production
- Comfort with small hand tools
- Strong general knowledge of electronic terminology
- Strong high reliability soldering skills
- Good electronic test equipment skills
- Good basic programming and set-up skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and self-motivation
