About Lighthouse Mentoring Services
Lighthouse Mentoring Services is a values-driven mental health practice founded in January 2025, built on the belief that healing doesn’t have to happen within four walls. Our approach integrates traditional psychotherapy with nature-based and movement-oriented experiences, recognizing the powerful connection between physical activity, environment, and mental well-being. We serve both youth and adults through the CCS program, offering flexible, individualized care that meets clients where they are—whether that’s in their home, in the community, or out on a trail. Our work is grounded in ethical practice, authentic relationships, and a commitment to doing what is clinically meaningful rather than what is easiest or most convenient. At Lighthouse, we prioritize both client outcomes and provider well-being, creating a space where clinicians and skills workers can practice sustainably while delivering impactful, person-centered care. As a newer practice, we are intentionally building a culture that values flexibility, autonomy, and sustainability in the mental health field.
We are currently seeking two licensed psychotherapists to join our team as independent contractors (1099).
About the Role
This position provides psychotherapy services to clients enrolled in the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program within our contracted counties. Therapists have the flexibility to meet clients in a variety of settings based on clinical need and client preference, including:
- Client homes
- Office setting
- Community locations
- Outdoor/nature-based environments
This is an ideal opportunity for clinicians who value autonomy, creative approaches to therapy, and meeting clients where they are—both literally and clinically.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation starting at $60/hour
- Flexible scheduling — create a caseload that fits your life
- Autonomy in your clinical approach within CCS guidelines
- Supportive, ethical leadership that prioritizes clinician well-being
- Wellness perks, including gym access
- Opportunity to help shape and grow a newer practice
- A values-driven environment that recognizes burnout is real—and actively works to prevent it
At Lighthouse Mentoring Services, we believe that clinicians cannot provide quality care if they are overextended or unsupported. We are committed to fostering a work environment where providers feel respected, heard, and able to do meaningful work without sacrificing their own well-being.
