At BBC Health, we aren't looking for someone to just "run the clock." We are looking for a top-flight Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about the "why" behind human movement. If you entered this field to build programs that genuinely impact patient outcomes—rather than just performing routine cardiac rehab or stress tests—we want to talk to you.

As part of our integrated medical team, you will work alongside Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Counselors, and Chiropractors. You will be an integral part of a collaborative environment where physical medicine, neurology, and rehabilitation meet to provide exceptional patient care.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing and implementing therapeutic exercise protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs. This is a hands-on, one-on-one environment where you will see the direct results of your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care: Lead and monitor patients through prescribed therapeutic exercise protocols, including self-myofascial release, mobility work, and progressive strengthening.
Assessment & Design: Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to ensure progress; reassess and adapt protocols based on real-time patient results.
Integrative Collaboration: Work closely with our medical staff to ensure a seamless "continuum of care." You will communicate daily with providers regarding patient progress or new clinical issues.
Patient Education: Create educational materials and teach patients the mechanics of their recovery to empower them outside of the clinic.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, record vital signs, and assist providers with daily clinical notes.
Practice Growth: Participate in development initiatives and support various practice management tasks to help our clinic thrive.

What We Are Looking For

We value candidates who think "outside the box" and have a deep interest in the neurological connection between the spine, the brain, and physiological change.

Preferences:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
Certification: Certification as an Exercise Physiologist (e.g., ACSM, NSCA) is preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Language Skills: Clear speaking and writing communication skills. Speaking Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory.
Compliance: Full compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Experience: Previous experience as a Physiotherapy Tech, Rehab Tech, or Personal Trainer is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
