We are looking for a Dining Service Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The Dining Service Coordinator will be responsible for overall management of kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

Direct and manage meal services for Assisted Living residents assuring individual resident diet adherence, regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction.

Essential duties and responsibilities: Manage staff: select, hire, train, counsel and schedule staff; assure performance and morale.

Evaluate staff and recommend/administer discipline as required.

Assure compliance with all professional, state and federal regulations.

Assure dietary staff follows proper food handling techniques, food safety and sanitation procedures.

Review diet orders for new admissions; maintain resident diet card system, noting physician diet orders, resident food preferences and any known food allergies.

Coordinate Front of the House and Back of the House kitchen operations

Regularly review product quality and research new vendors

Organize and supervise kitchen team

Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products

Review operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

Analyze reports on weekly, monthly and annual expenses

Train new and current employees on proper customer service and Kitchen best practices

Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future kitchen operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
