At the Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. To achieve our mission, we need exceptionally talented, innovative, and driven people to help us reduce risks on the Hanford Site by removing some of the most hazardous waste streams and facilities in the Department of Energy (DOE) complex. The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the Waste Projects and Construction team. A day in the life of an Administrative Assistant will include, but is not limited to:

Providing administrative support for project managers, construction managers, and field leads, including meeting coordination, calendar management, and preparation of presentations or meeting minutes.
Coordinating training and medical appointments for the project team and construction subcontractor personnel, including overall tracking, scheduling, and supporting managers in developing and revising training plans and employee job task analyses (EJTAs).
Administering PeopleCore entries and updates to ensure accurate labor charging, worker qualifications, and crew alignment.
Acting as custodian for construction trailers, copiers, printers, keys, radios, and shared equipment; serving as point of contact for construction support spaces and conference rooms.
Supporting project move or mobilization activities, including coordinating service catalog requests for equipment needs, relocations, IT support, and workstation setup for field personnel.
Providing backup support and assistance to the Executive Secretary for the Waste Project and Operations Project.
Formatting, editing, routing, and preparing technical documents for release.
Assisting with construction records management by submitting documents to IDMS, ensuring proper file retention, and requesting new or revised electronic records authorizations.
Interfacing professionally with all levels of construction and project management, field crews, and support organizations.
Supporting safe project execution through accurate documentation, timely communication, and consistent administrative oversight.
Maintaining effective communication within the organization and with the customer while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Basic Qualifications
Grade 6: High School plus 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Grade 7: High School plus 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, and impact. The level offered will be based on company needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications
* Experience with project, construction or field support administrative duties.

Familiarity with scheduling training, EJTAs, and personnel qualification tracking.
Experience with technical document editing and coordination of project and construction documentation.
Ability to support personnel moves and field mobilization activities.
Strong customer service focus, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project and construction environment.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with PeopleCore, IDMS, and CPCCo site systems preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):

Grade 6: $47,450 - $75,950
Grade 7: $52,300 - $83,650

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
