Full Job Description

Full-Time Position: Group Home Manager
The Group Home Manager oversees the daily operations of the home, including staff supervision, scheduling, and coordination to ensure high-quality care and a well-functioning team.

Schedule:

Open availability required, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
Must be willing to cover (fill in for) various shifts as needed
On-call availability required
Includes an additional 8 hours per week dedicated to administrative duties
Flexible hours based on program needs

Work Environment:
Group home and community-based support settings. Services are delivered in a variety of settings, including the group home, community, and day programs.

Requirements:

Reliable, dependable, and strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a safe driving record
State-minimum auto insurance required
Successful completion of background checks

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong motivation to support clients in physical wellness, including exercise and muscle development
Confidence working with individuals who may display aggressive behaviors
Ability to remain calm, patient, and composed during escalated situations (e.g., verbal aggression)
Emotional resilience and sound judgment when supporting individuals with explosive behaviors
Willingness to learn and effectively apply de-escalation and crisis intervention strategies

Preferred (Not Required):

Bilingual in English and Spanish
