We are looking for experienced two years in a dental office only. DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE. Salary is based upon experience. Four day full-time position in a great atmosphere. Many benefits not offered at most practices. This is a busy practice with a team environment. Our doctors are the best and we love our patients so we are looking for the right team member to help our parents and patients.

We pride ourselves on having a staff who welcomes patients and makes them comfortable.

Dentrix software experience is a plus.

Experience:

Dental office: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using dental office management software Dentrix
Verify insurance coverage and benefits; explain coverage details to patients clearly
Schedule appointments efficiently utilizing scheduling systems; manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Collect payments, process co-pays, and handle posting of these.
Maintain accurate dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information
Assist with intake procedures, including collecting medical history forms and updating patient information.
Support office management tasks like filing, faxing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing patient correspondence

Experience

Prior dental office experience is required; familiarity with dental terminology is essential
Demonstrated proficiency with Dentrix
Strong knowledge of health information management practices including insurance verification, documentation review, and billing processes
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to navigate multiple software platforms efficiently
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
Proven experience in front desk or administrative support roles within healthcare settings-dental.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette, patient service excellence, and professional communication
