Full Job Description

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing

Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using Paycor
Review timesheets and resolve discrepancies prior to processing
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
Process off-cycle payroll as needed (bonuses, reimbursements, etc.)

New Employee Setup & Onboarding

Manage all pre-employment and onboarding documentation
Set up new employees in the HR systems
Ensure timely distribution of firm policies, employee handbook, and benefits enrollment materials
Manage Law Clerk recruiting program, including career fairs, interviews, onboarding and offboarding

Benefits Administration

Coordinate annual open enrollment process, including employee communication, system updates, and carrier submissions
Maintain accurate and current benefits elections for all employees throughout the year
Process qualifying life event changes (marriage, birth, divorce, etc.) in a timely manner
Serve as a liaison between employees and benefits carriers to resolve coverage or billing questions
Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and report discrepancies to finance
Support compliance filings related to benefits (ACA reporting, COBRA notices, etc.)

General HR Support

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS
Assist with HR policy development and updates to the Employee Handbook
Assist with HR reporting and metrics as requested
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
HR experience with direct responsibility for payroll processing and benefits administration preferred
Exceptional attention to detail
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
