Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized physical therapy services to pediatric patients, supporting their growth, development, and rehabilitation needs. Your expertise will help children overcome physical challenges, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients and their families through innovative treatment strategies and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

Assess pediatric patients’ physical conditions by conducting comprehensive evaluations of physiology, anatomy, and neurology to develop personalized treatment plans.
Design and implement effective therapy programs tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on patient care, mobility improvement, and functional independence.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and caregivers to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Manage clinical documentation standards by accurately recording patient progress, treatment plans, discharge planning details, and therapy outcomes within electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Conduct discharge planning for pediatric patients transitioning from inpatient or outpatient settings to home or community care environments.
Utilize outpatient clinic experience and outpatient rehabilitation center expertise to deliver targeted therapy sessions in various settings including hospital inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and home health environments.
Apply specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy and physiotherapy methods to facilitate patient rehabilitation across orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, and pediatrics disciplines.

Experience

Proven practicing experience in a physical therapy role with a focus on pediatrics or related fields such as orthopedics or neurology.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with pediatric populations as well as geriatric patients when needed.
Experience in acute care settings including hospitals or inpatient units is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and the ability to interpret clinical documentation standards.
Prior involvement in home & community care programs or outpatient rehabilitation centers that emphasize patient-centered care and client communication.
Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for efficient documentation management is essential.
Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy knowledge, and treatment plan development tailored for diverse patient needs across inpatient, outpatient, hospital, clinic, or home health environments.
