Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to handle and lead both Sterile and Non-Sterile daily operations of our 503A Sterile pharmacy. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care and services to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy practices, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. This candidate will also bring significant expertise in pharmaceutical compounding and regulatory standards (USP<795>,<797>,<800>

Duties

Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Oversee medication management processes, including IV infusion preparation and administration.
Implement clinical pharmacy services in particular Peptides and weight loss medications
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication therapy management.
Oversee batch record execution, in process controls, and production KPIs.
Ensure proper inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring pharmaceutical supplies.
Proactively identify and remove bottlenecks in production workflows to increase capacity while maintainig compliance and safety
Provide training and education to staff on best practices in pharmacy operations and patient care.
Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and ensure proper documentation for audits.

Experience

A degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution is required.
Demonstrated experience managing cleanroom operations, audits, and pharmacy staff
ACPE IV certification
Experience with IV insertion techniques and IV infusion therapies is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and regulatory agencies.
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for medication dispensing and inventory control.Join our team as we strive to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care while enhancing the health and well-being of our community.

Pay: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
