Full Job Description

Local CPA firm seeks a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accountant to provide bookkeeping and accounting for multiple small business clients in a fast-paced public accounting environment.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and data entry for multiple clients
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Payroll processing and payroll reporting assistance
Organizing financial records and client documents
Assisting with monthly financial reports and accounting workflows
Supporting tax preparation and client requests during tax season

Qualifications

Bookkeeping or accounting experience required
QuickBooks experience required
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Professional communication and attention to detail
CPA firm or small business accounting experience is required

Position Details

Part-time position
Approximately 30 hours per week
Flexible schedule
In-office position located in Ashland, VA
Compensation based on experience
Growth opportunity available for the right candidate
