Full Job Description

Position Summary

Graybo's Sports Cards and Parlay Bar & Lounge are seeking an experienced, creative, and results-driven Marketing & Content Manager to lead all marketing initiatives for our growing businesses. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys building brands from the ground up.

As our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue across both companies. This is a highly hands-on position—you will be our entire marketing department, overseeing everything from strategy and campaign planning to content creation, social media management, graphic design, photography, videography, and analytics.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing long-term marketing plans and spending the afternoon filming content, editing videos, designing graphics, or launching a social media campaign.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for both Graybo's Sports Cards and Parlay Bar & Lounge.
Create annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing campaigns that align with company goals and seasonal events.
Identify opportunities to grow brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue.
Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and customer experience across all marketing channels.
Recommend new marketing initiatives, partnerships, sponsorships, and promotional opportunities.
Manage marketing calendars and coordinate campaigns between both businesses.

Content Creation & Social Media

Plan, create, and publish engaging content for both brands.
Capture high-quality photography and video content on-site during daily operations, special events, product releases, tournaments, live breaks, and promotions.
Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube.
Design branded graphics for social media, promotions, events, digital advertising, and in-store marketing.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
Execute the company's social media strategy across:
- Facebook
- Instagram
- TikTok
- Threads
- X (formerly Twitter)
- YouTube
Publish an average of four (4) posts per day across all company social media platforms.

Marketing Execution

Execute all digital marketing initiatives from concept through completion.
Write compelling marketing copy for advertisements, email campaigns, websites, and promotional materials.
Coordinate promotions for events, product launches, menu specials, tournaments, card shows, live breaks, and community events.
Develop marketing materials for in-store and digital use.
Explore new advertising channels and marketing opportunities to increase customer acquisition.

Analytics & Performance

Monitor campaign performance using social media and marketing analytics.
Track key performance indicators including engagement, reach, follower growth, website traffic, and campaign ROI.
Provide regular reporting and recommendations to ownership.
Continuously optimize marketing strategies based on performance data.

3+ years of marketing experience with responsibility for planning and executing campaigns.
Experience managing business social media accounts and creating high-performing content.
Strong videography, photography, and video editing skills.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar creative software.
Excellent graphic design and visual storytelling abilities.
Strong copywriting and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously.
Highly organized with excellent project management and time management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of marketing initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience marketing for sports, hospitality, restaurants, retail, entertainment, or collectibles.
Knowledge of paid social advertising and digital marketing campaigns.
Experience with email marketing platforms, website content management, and marketing analytics tools.
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media scheduling platforms.

Performance Expectations

Success in this role will include:

Developing and executing successful marketing strategies for both businesses.
Maintaining a consistent posting schedule averaging 4+ social media posts per day.
Producing high-quality video, photography, and graphic content.
Growing audience engagement, followers, and brand recognition across all platforms.
Successfully promoting events, products, and special promotions through integrated marketing campaigns.
Delivering measurable growth in customer engagement, event attendance, and overall business performance.
Serving as the company's in-house marketing expert and trusted strategic partner to ownership.
