We’re looking for: A confident, organized, innovative and client-focused professional to join our team as a Senior Coordinator, Mobile and Community Distribution. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for events and programs focused on getting meals to our neighbors in need. You will be the owner and executor of targeted opportunities to engage with the communities we serve.

What you’ll do:

The Mobile & Community Distribution Coordinator leads the planning and execution of Feed More’s mobile distribution portfolio, including emergency response efforts and Feed More Freddie events (mobile market-style distributions utilizing a modified school bus). This role is responsible for supporting high-quality, safe, and dignified food distributions across a diverse service area.

The Senior Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for mobile distribution partners and operates as the on-site lead for events, managing logistics and volunteers in dynamic community environments. This role balances strong relationship management with operational excellence, using data, community insight, and cross-functional collaboration to continuously strengthen program impact and reach.

Program Execution & Field Operations

Coordinate execution of mobile and community food distributions, ensuring events are safe, efficient, and responsive to community needs.
When needed, serve as the on-site lead during distributions, managing set-up, flow, volunteer coordination, and real-time problem-solving.
Anticipate and respond to operational challenges including weather, product availability, attendance fluctuations, and site-specific constraints.
Support logistics coordination across departments, including transportation, inventory, volunteer services, and communications to ensure seamless execution.

Partner & Community Engagement

Serve as the primary relationship manager for mobile distribution hosts and assigned community partners.
Build trust-based partnerships that support consistent, high-quality distributions and strengthen community presence.
Ensure partners understand and uphold program expectations, operational standards, and compliance requirements.
Represent Feed More in the community, fostering an environment that is welcoming, respectful, and centered on dignity.
Work with the Network Engagement team to identify opportunities for new distribution sites based on community need, access barriers, and service gaps.

Volunteer & Site Leadership

Provide direct, on-site leadership to volunteers when needed, creating a structured and positive experience while ensuring accountability to roles and expectations.
Train volunteers on distribution procedures, safety protocols, reporting, and neighbor interaction best practices.

Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all distributions adhere to Feed More and Feeding America standards for food safety, neighbor safety, and operational compliance.
Conduct site-level risk assessments related to traffic flow, crowd management, weather exposure, and accessibility.
Lead incident response and reporting for any safety, behavioral, or operational issues that arise during events.
Apply de-escalation techniques as needed to maintain a safe and respectful environment.

Data, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Ensure accurate and timely collection of distribution data, including neighbor insights and required program metrics.
Work with Network Engagement team to analyze data trends and community feedback to identify opportunities for program improvement and increased impact.
Monitor site performance and recommend adjustments to scheduling, format, or partner engagement as needed.
Champion effective use of systems and tools that support data integrity, reporting, and program management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with internal teams to align mobile distributions with broader organizational priorities, including food sourcing, outreach, and resources (e.g., SNAP, nutrition education).
Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on product mix, community preferences, and operational needs.
Support planning and execution of emergency response distributions, including the ability to scale operations in times of crisis.

Must have:

A high school diploma
3+ years experience managing community-based programs, events, or partnerships in dynamic environments.
Strong organizational and operational skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to lead in the field, make sound decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing conditions.
Skilled in building relationships while upholding clear expectations and standards.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
Experience with or willingness to learn de-escalation techniques.
Comfort using technology and data systems to support scheduling, reporting, and program evaluation.
Commitment to Feed More’s mission and values, including advancing equitable access to food.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the service area using a personal vehicle.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional on-call hours, particularly during emergency response situations.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 40 pounds.
Ability to endure frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting on hard surfaces in warehouse and community settings.

Ideally, will have:

Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, human services and/or related field
5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
