Full Job Description

The Social Media & Content Manager will lead the social media presence for the six Richmond area locations. This role is based out of one primary club location (Willow Lawn), with regular travel to all club locations to capture and create engaging content.

The Social Media & Content Manager will serve as the face of the brand online including managing/monitoring all social media platforms consistently and on an ongoing basis. They are responsible for planning, filming, and hosting video content that showcases club culture, workouts, trainers, and member experiences. The Social Media & Content Manager will present themselves as confident on camera, passionate about fitness, and motivated to drive real business results through social media.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Content Creation & On-Camera Presence

Plan, film, and host engaging video content (Reels, TikTok, Stories, Shorts, etc.)
Serve as an on-camera brand representative across all social platforms
Maintain a professional, energetic, and fitness-focused image aligned with brand standards

Social Media Management

Manage social media accounts for all six club locations
Develop and execute monthly content calendars
Ensure consistent branding while highlighting each club’s unique personality

Club Engagement & Travel

Travel regularly between all club locations to capture fresh content
Collaborate with club managers to identify content opportunities
Attend events, classes, and promotions for content creation

Growth & Performance

Monitor engagement, follower growth, and content performance
Adjust strategies based on analytics and trends
Stay current on social media trends and fitness industry content

Community & Brand Building

Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly
Build an engaged online community
Promote memberships, programs, and club events through social channels

Required Experience, Education and Certifications

2+ years of social media management experience (fitness/lifestyle preferred)
Strong video creation and editing skills (mobile + editing apps or software)
Comfortable and confident on camera
Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
Ability to travel between multiple local locations
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Experience:

Content creation: 3 years (Required)
Social media management: 3 years (Required)
