About the Job

This is a full-time, hourly position. As a Customer Guidance Specialist, you will be the first point of contact - answering phone calls and email requests on how to use our system. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm.

The ideal job candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience working in customer service, administration, education, healthcare, or another detail-oriented service role (at least one year each of administrative work, customer service, and regular use of Microsoft Office is preferred).

You will be responding to incoming requests, guiding service providers through registration, understanding client requirements, navigating our platform, and document submission
Investigating questions and coordinating with internal staff when needed
Documenting interactions and maintaining accurate records
Following established processes while exercising judgment
Identifying recurring problems and helping improve support procedures
Working on one-off projects as directed by management

As FIRST, VERIFY continues to grow, we expect successful Customer Guidance Specialists to have opportunities to move into client account management and other specialized roles.

Skills and Experience

Clear, professional written and oral communication skills, with patience and helpfulness when assisting customers
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple detailed tasks accurately
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, web-based software, and learning new applications quickly
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Able to remain calm with frustrated customers
Able to handle unexpected surges in time-sensitive work
Able to work onsite at our office (near the Stony Point Fashion Park) and reliably commute to the workplace
