Scheduled Hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Scheduled Days: Monday–Friday, holidays, and rotating weekends

Position Summary

Performs housekeeping duties to maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and order throughout the facility. The position involves cleaning assigned areas, handling linens, maintaining supplies, and properly disposing of contaminated refuse.

Qualifications

At least six months of housekeeping or related cleaning experience..
Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning chemicals..
Familiarity with equipment and hand tools used for cleaning..
Ability to lift between 25 and 50 pounds..
Ability to squat, stoop, and bend as required..
State law requires national and state background checks as a condition of employment..

Schedule Requirements

The scheduled shift is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Candidates must be available Monday through Friday, on holidays, and for rotating weekends. Overtime is not expected.

Employees are expected to arrive on time for every scheduled shift.

Job Functions

1. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the facility..

2. Clean and straighten assigned areas..

3. Maintain and replenish housekeeping supplies as needed..

4. Collect, sort, launder, transport, and distribute linens and uniforms..

5. Follow required safety procedures when handling and disposing of contaminated refuse..

6. Safely use cleaning chemicals, hand tools, and housekeeping equipment..

7. Perform physical tasks that require lifting, squatting, stooping, and bending..

Orientation Requirement

New Staff Orientation must be completed before working on campus. Orientation is scheduled from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Background Check and Onboarding Requirements

Candidates must pass the required background checks, drug screening, fingerprinting, and TB testing.

DBHDD Background Check and Fingerprinting: $60.00.
Drug Screening: $35.00.
TB Testing: Cost determined by the candidate’s provider.

Candidate Confirmation Requirement

Before scheduling an interview, confirm that the candidate understands and accepts the offered pay rate, schedule, weekend and holiday requirements, and onboarding requirements.

Worker Pay Rates

Regular Hours: $12.75 per hour.
Overtime Hours: $19.13 per hour.
Double-Time Hours: $25.50 per hour.

Pay: $12.50 - $12.75 per hour

Work Location: In person
