Full Job Description

Pecan Grove is looking to hire an Experienced Front of House Food and Beverage Manager. This manager will be responsible for participating in daily Front of Manager responsibilities as well as leading the coordination of Private Events, Banquets and Catering.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a documented work history of restaurant service management and office management. Weekly and daily responsibilities will consist of staff organization, participation in any necessary ordering and purchasing, taking meetings with potential clients and leading our effort to book, coordinate and manage events and the staff required to operate them.

Our new Food and Beverage Manager in charge of Event Coordinator will maintain effective communication with our clients, staff, Executive Chef and General Manager with the goal of optimizing performance for private events.

The person we are looking to hire will have a positive attitude and a thoughtful approach to leading and organizing our staff.

Job Duties and Expectations:

Event Coordination

Maintain a professional appearance within guidelines of uniform policy to successfully represent our Club
Meet with clients and provide timely feedback to any requests
Create and maintain detailed Banquet/Event Order forms to fully prepare staff for function requirements
Maintain desired cost of goods sold for banquets and private events
Provide day-of coordination where required
Successfully delegate duties to banquet staff
Skillful decoration and setup of event spaces

Front of House Management

Participate in front of house management duties
Opening/Closing Restaurant
Organizing shifts
Maintaining discipline of staff
Maintain positive guest interactions
Participate in any required ordering protocols (particularly Linen and Beverage Orders)
Participate in staff hiring and training
Participate in weekly payroll input supervision
Menu Development and Marketing
Participate in Menu creation
Coordinate with Executive Chef to ensure menus are up to current standards
Participate in marketing strategy
Find new ways to generate sales Banquet Sales through social media or other Marketing Platforms

Benefits

As a Full Time, Salaried Manager our new hire will be entitled to:

Salary

$35-45,000 Annual Base. Dependent on Experience
$8000-12000Annual Variable Compensation total (paid monthly)

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
