Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing food production processes in accordance with strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Your proactive approach will ensure efficient operations, uphold food safety management protocols, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering high-quality food and beverage products to consumers worldwide.

Duties

Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in food processing and packaging, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.
Follow detailed production schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and other regulatory standards.
Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the production process to meet strict quality standards in production, including sampling, testing, and documentation.
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work areas, machinery, and equipment in accordance with sanitation protocols and safety standards in production.
Manage inventory levels within SAP (Systems Applications and Products) or similar ERP systems for raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
Assist with managing production or assembly teams by providing clear instructions, supporting team members, and ensuring adherence to safety standards in production.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies, suggesting solutions, and implementing best practices within the manufacturing environment.

Skills

Strong understanding of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety management standards.
Proven experience in food & beverage production or food processing plant environments with a focus on quality assurance.
Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements, recipes, or quality control data analysis.
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for managing inventory and production data.
Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.
Knowledge of safety standards in production including sanitation practices, GMP compliance, forklift operation certification preferred.
Experience managing packaging processes along with food industry-specific regulations for managing regulatory/legal compliance standards in production.
