Executive Sous Chef

The Hidden Wit Brewing Company is seeking a professional, passionate, hospitality-minded Executive Sous Chef to join our team! We strive to "enhance" traditional hospitality and restaurant models by taking care of our employees, guests, and community. Job Summary: To be successful in this position you need to have an in-depth knowledge of culinary trends, cooking techniques, recipe development, recipe costing and kitchen management. We are looking for a leader who can promote encouragement and staff progression in a professional and positive culture. You must be passionate about training and leading a staff to create outstanding food while being supportive of our Executive Chef. We are seeking candidates who choose high standards as a personal and professional way to grow in their career and life.

What we need from you:

2-3 years minimum experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook in a full-service, high volume kitchen.
2-3 years minimum experience with Banquet and/or Catering Services are a plus but not required.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to be an instinctive leader. Continually coach, train and mentor staff.
Core Capabilities: Food Quality and Consistency, Inventory Control, Food/Labor Costs Controls, Operational Profitability.
Impeccable attention to detail with a refined palate.
Intense Focus on Facility Cleanliness and Organization.
Proficient in Computer Systems including Microsoft Applications and other web-based applications.
Great enthusiasm and attitude.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
