Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cigar Lounge Manager to lead our premium lounge experience. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a luxurious and welcoming environment for our guests. Your leadership will drive staff performance, uphold safety standards, and manage all aspects of lounge management to create a memorable experience for cigar enthusiasts.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine hospitality expertise with a passion for fine cigars and upscale service.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily lounge operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery in a high-end environment
Lead, train, and develop staff to uphold service standards, product knowledge, and customer engagement skills
Manage inventory control for cigars, accessories, and lounge supplies to ensure optimal stock levels and quality standards
Oversee food preparation and bar service, including managing the bar area with expertise in Toast POS system.
Enforce food safety regulations, cleanliness standards, and responsible alcohol service protocols
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and shift reconciliation
Coordinate with vendors for product procurement, catering events, and special promotions to enhance guest experiences

Skills

Proven management experience within hospitality or food service environments, especially in fine dining or casual dining settings
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for discerning guests
Experience in inventory control, food handling, and food safety standards within the food industry
Leadership qualities that include team management, interviewing potential staff, budgeting, and shift management
Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is highly desirable
Ability to oversee kitchen operations related to food production and catering services
