Full Job Description

Position Overview

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales operations within an assigned geographic area. This role involves overseeing a team of sales professionals, developing sales strategies, and ensuring targets are met. The Territory Sales Manager will analyze performance metrics, coach team members, and drive profitability within the territory.

Work Location & Hours

Territory includes multiple retail locations within a specified region
This is an on-site position
Hours vary Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some Saturdays required

Primary Responsibilities

Manage sales operations and ensure that sales goals and performance metrics are achieved
Supervise and provide leadership to the sales team across the territory
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet growth and profitability objectives
Monitor and analyze sales performance, including store activity, customer traffic, and conversion rates
Train, mentor, and support sales staff to improve performance and achieve sales quotas
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Handle staffing needs, including scheduling and performance management
Develop action plans to capitalize on sales opportunities within the region

Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of sales experience, with a strong background in territory management
Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Results-driven with the ability to set and achieve high-performance goals
Proficient in CRM software
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs if required
Tech-savvy, with a good understanding of common software applications (e.g., Google Suite)
