Senior FP&A Analyst
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to budgeting processes, and provide valuable insights to enhance financial performance.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of financial models for budgeting,
forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide meaningful insights into business performance and
trends.
- Partner with department heads to create annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational
goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive financial forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance
indicators (KPIs), to senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for strategic
initiatives and projects.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to assist management in making informed business decisions.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks
and capitalize on opportunities.
- Assist in developing risk management strategies to safeguard the financial health of the
organization.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and analytical
methodologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the finance department
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or relevant professional
certification (e.g., CFA is a plus.)
- 5+ -7rs years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and use of financial software/tools.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial
information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
