SUMMARY:
The Account Manager is accountable for being onsite at accounts within the Richmond, VA area to focus on operational and delivery outcomes, staff development, ensuring fill rates are on point, and building relationships daily with the client. Full oversight and ownership of your accounts with reporting to the Area Manager. Strong operational experience, focus on proactively finding opportunities for new headcount, direct hire, or taking full account needs. Great organizational and communication skills are needed for this position, and support of Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly. This position is responsible for ensuring the relationships with our existing accounts, growth within the accounts, and building new accounts. Full support of business development, operational, administrative, and service activities through the direct oversight of the accounts and the ongoing relationships
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and implement an effective growth strategy to increase sales and maximize profits
Develop and implement an effective recruiting strategy along with the Area Manager to ensure the availability of qualified temporary/full time employees (“inventory”) to meet current and anticipated demand
Develop new business and increase revenue of existing accounts through personal outside sales activities in conjunction with the oversight of others in business development roles
Maintain communication with established clients to ensure successful ongoing business development and to promote client and associate retention through exemplary customer service
Oversee the financial management of account operations including but not limited to operating within a budget, forecasting, monthly P&L review, accounts receivable
Implement, monitor and comply with Staffing company programs & initiatives
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all account activities
Participate in local professional, business and civic organizations to network and promote the company brand.
Must Have's:
* Operational experience managing clients for a staffing company
* Staff management and development of temporary staff and Onsite/Staffing Specialist staff
* Ownership and accountability of client, outcomes, staff, safety, onboarding compliance, ensuring staff is developed for next steps, and Service Level Agreements are met
* Strong decision making and problem solving skills
* Works as liaison and HR Business Partner to our clients to ensure safety, compliance, production, outcomes management are on point
* Work well as a leader of your team, work well independently and as a team, always with goals of continuous improvement
* Calm demeanor, and calm reactions to problems, identifying problems, proactively mitigate risk with staff and client
* Strong communication skills with client, staff, on needs, changes, and outcomes
* Change agent for anything new to ensure staff has a "Can Do" attitude with changes, and that client knows they are supported
* Strong technical skills to manage our Workforce Planning App, AI Recruiting Tool, ATS (Tempworks), and Google Sheets ongoing
* Willingness to be onsite daily at one of three locations in Elkton and North East, with North East being our largest location in area
* Full account management, relationship building with staff and client, outcomes management, scheduling of staff, development of team, and ensure all that is happening is what should be happening with the client
* Compliance driven and great auditing and training skills with staff to be compliant with onboarding, e-Verify, background checks, drug testing, and all other regulatory requirements
* Ability to look for opportunities for growth in revenue with client through staffing headcount, direct hire opportunities, or other services! (Not afraid to ask for the business)
* Understanding of basic employment law, and ability to document and respond to work place incidents for OSHA, safety, employee relations, morale, scheduling, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Five (5+) years of related work experience with at least three years in a sales/profit center management capacity with proven history of success increasing revenue and profit
Three (3+) years successful managerial/leadership experience hiring, training, motivating, and retaining employees
Ability to analyze profit/loss statements and other related financial data to make sound business decisions
Strong leadership, managerial, customer service, organizational and communication skills Demonstrated understanding of the corporate environment
Ability and desire to perform business development and external sales activities
Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to maintain effectiveness through change
Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary
