SteelHead Management is seeking a creative and results-driven Director of Marketing to join our dynamic property management team.

Summary:

This position plays a vital role in leading and executing SteelHead Management’s marketing efforts across residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate assets. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing strategies that boost brand awareness, enhance resident engagement, and drive leasing performance. This is a hands-on role, reporting directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Campaigns

Create an enduring brand message that results in increased sales, brand loyalty, and improved market position.
Develop and implement creative, data-driven marketing strategies that support brand growth and leasing success.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to guide future marketing decisions.

Content Marketing & Advertising

Oversee content creation for websites, social media, print collateral, and digital ads.
Manage advertising across platforms including Google Ads, ILS (ApartmentGuide, Apartments.com, etc.), and social channels.

Social Media & Engagement

Oversee all social media platforms, and implement strategies that align with advances in social media technology and latest social media platforms.
Create and manage social media content calendars for properties.
Manage business accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Yelp, and Google Business.
Promote unique, upscale, and engaging resident events monthly.

Marketing Operations

Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns associated with the management company and property portfolio.
Coordinate production and installation of signage and marketing collateral.
Perform weekly audits of websites and prospect calls.
Develop and implement guidelines for outreach marketing, public relations, and digital marketing.
Monitor online reviews and reputation across platforms.
Submit support tickets through RealPage, Engrain, and ILS partners as needed.

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with property teams and leadership to ensure consistent branding and messaging across the portfolio.
maintain effective internal communications to ensure all team members are kept informed of marketing objectives and brand development strategies.
Support cross-functional initiatives to optimize leasing, occupancy, and cash flow.
Manage active recruitment program by conducting orientations, participation in local job fairs and networking events, and advising managers on training and coaching related to company culture and teamwork.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, SEO, social media, email marketing).
Strong project management and communication skills.
Experience in the multifamily or real estate industry is required.
High emotional intelligence, self-starter mentality, and collaborative mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with RealPage or similar systems.
