Full Job Description

Job Summary
Medical Evaluation Management seeking Doctors that are boarded in the state of California (not required to live in California) to act as a Medical Legal / Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). The Doctor will be performing evaluations related to Worker Compensation cases.

Create your own schedule and choose which days (Monday - Saturday) and hours (8am - 5pm) we schedule evaluations.
Evaluations are completed in-person in office, but reports can be written from your home or office
Billing starts at $2,015 per evaluation, plus additional reimbursement for records. Opportunity to earn$100,000-$500,000/year

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible
California medical license
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in Orthopedic practice.

We handle the full scope of administrative and operational services required for a successful med-legal practice, including:

Comprehensive Practice Management: Strategic guidance and operational optimization for QME/IME practices.
Case Coordination: Efficient scheduling, logistics, and management of a high volume of complex cases.
Compliance & Administration: Ensuring strict adherence to DWC (Division of Workers’ Compensation) regulations, managing the Review of Record, Transcription, and final report delivery.
Financial Services: Handling billing and collections to ensure maximum and timely reimbursement for our doctors.
