Full-Time | $70,000–$90,000 Base Salary + Monthly Performance Bonuses

About the Role:

My Fit Foods is looking for a hands-on Kitchen Manager who brings strong culinary fundamentals, operational discipline, exceptional organization, and a logistics-focused mindset.

This is not an office-based position. We need a leader who enjoys being on the production floor, working alongside the team, solving problems, maintaining standards, and building a positive, high-performing kitchen culture.

The ideal candidate has at least 3–5 years of leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, banquet operation, commissary, or similar food-production environment. You should be detail-oriented, comfortable using technology, and capable of keeping a busy kitchen running efficiently.

What You’ll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Serve as a visible, hands-on leader who works alongside the team
Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, portioning, presentation, and food safety
Perform daily quality-control checks and ensure recipes, builds, and production standards are followed
Help manage large-batch food production while maintaining consistency and efficiency
Monitor labor, productivity, waste, inventory, and overall kitchen performance
Use Microsoft Office and other operational technology to track information, communicate, and stay organized
Build and improve systems and processes that make the kitchen more efficient
Train, coach, and hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive culture
Partner closely with culinary, purchasing, and operations leadership
Work weekends, which are some of our busiest production days

What We’re Looking For

At least 3–5 years of leadership experience in a restaurant, hotel, banquet, commissary, or high-volume food-production environment
Strong working knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and quality standards
Experience managing high-volume or large-batch production
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through
Comfort using Microsoft Office and basic operational technology
Strong knowledge of food safety and quality-assurance practices
A natural ability to think in terms of systems, processes, logistics, and efficiency
Confident communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team
Bilingual English and Spanish skills are strongly preferred
A desire to grow into a larger leadership role—not simply manage a shift
