Full Job Description

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Capital Markets Consultant to join their team. As a Capital Markets Consultant, you will be part of the Enterprise Capital Management Technology (ECMT) supporting critical regulatory and technological transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Capital Markets Consultant

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: $68

What's the Job?

Support the development and maintenance of enterprise-level capital management technology applications.
Assist in replacing legacy applications within Treasury Technology through meticulous design and implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with critical regulations such as Basel IV and FRTB.
Read and understand Python code and run reports in MicroStrategy to support data analysis and reporting needs.
Identify risks and issues proactively, suggesting improvements to enhance system performance and compliance.

What's Needed?

10+ years of experience in a techno-functional role with at least 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
Good knowledge of SQL programming, preferably with Oracle Exadata databases.
Programming experience with Python or Java/.Net, with the ability to read and interpret code.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Deep understanding of Capital Markets, focusing on Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations, along with regulatory knowledge.
