OverviewNight Time Cook

Taco Del Gnar is looking for a Night Time Cook.

This is not a “stand around and make tacos” job. It’s a fast kitchen, and when the tickets start flying, we need someone who stays calm, moves with purpose, and knows how to work.

You should be comfortable in a high-volume environment where things can get loud, messy, and very busy. You need to be clean, organized, and serious about food quality and safety. You also need to understand that everybody does everything.

That means cooking, prepping, cleaning, washing dishes, taking out trash, mopping floors, restocking, and jumping in wherever the team needs you. If your response to a sink full of dishes is “that’s not my job,” this probably isn't your job.

We’re looking for someone who:

Can handle fast-paced, high-volume kitchen work without melting down.
Keeps a clean, organized station.
Understands that speed matters, but sloppy food isn’t acceptable.
Can follow recipes, systems, and directions.
Shows up on time and is dependable.
Works well with a team and communicates when things get slammed.
Is willing to pitch in on dishes, mopping, cleaning, prep, trash, and whatever else needs doing.
Takes pride in doing the unglamorous stuff because that’s what keeps a kitchen running.
Doesn’t need to be babysat.

Night shifts are busy. You’ll be expected to keep your station moving, maintain standards, and help close the kitchen down properly at the end of the night.

If you like working with your hands, move quickly, care about good food, and understand that being a good cook also means being a good teammate, we want to hear from you.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
