What You’ll Do

The General Clerk position at Grand River Health is a vital role within the Patient Financial Services team. The primary focus is on managing cash reimbursement processes, including accurately posting all cash and check transactions received by the facility. As a collaborative member of the Patient Financial Services team, this role also includes opportunities for cross-training with other department members. Daily tasks involve a variety of clerical duties. Responsibilities include:

Ensuring cash payments and reimbursements are processed accurately
Responding to emails and phone calls
Handling departmental mail
Generating reports
Managing document scanning and deposits

Who We’re Looking For

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Relevant work experience in a similar position preferred.
