Full Job Description

Summary: This position is responsible for preparing outbound shipments while managing incoming shipments. They ensure accurate paperwork, track shipments and often collaborating with other teams to streamline operations.

Job Duties:

Prepares shipping documents, tracks and monitors shipments. Handles issues arising in shipping or inventory verify the weight of shipment while addressing any weight discrepancies.
Seals and verifies trailers, takes pictures as required. Prints BOL and any shipping documents required.
Receiving and Distributing Incoming shipments.
Checks in and out Drivers ensure that carriers are filing out proper paperwork.
Verifying the paperwork is correct, working directly with the Shipping lead, to verify weights before loading trucks.
Verify loads, fill out organic affidavit, add pallet and bag information to the spreadsheet
Interacting with carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
SS and Pallet inbound verification and recording the information on the spreadsheet.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills:

People Management, Data Entry Skills, Data Entry Management, Data Processing, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Ability to deal with complexity and deadlines.

Qualifications:

One to Two years’ experience in a similar role. Experience in dispatching and warehouse activities along with database software like Microsoft Excel. Experience in WMS systems.
