In this role, you won't just be a spectator, you'll be a key player. Your responsibilities will extend from operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art network infrastructure to performing routine maintenance of our electrical and cooling systems. This includes tasks like replacing hashboards, fans, power supplies, updating firmware and software, and maintaining the cleanliness of our equipment, filters, and cooling fans.

· The ideal candidate will be working with our computer network and equipment
allowing the team to ensure maximum uptime and operational excellence.
· You will also be responsible for small maintenance and upkeep around the site, as well as basic repair, and preventative maintenance on data center equipment.
Including:
- Lawn Upkeep
- Basic Plumbing
- Retrieving offline miners and diagnosing them for repair
- Organizing them with our internal inventory system
- Scanning/Entering new equipment into the inventory system
- Racking and Un-racking of miners
- Hardware upgrades
- Returning miners to their designated spot after repair
- Other responsibilities designated by the immediate supervisor as they occur
- Having a positive team environment
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management in a timely manner
During a Typical Workday you will…
- Use your knowledge to maintain and operate all processes associated with your designated facility
- Maintaining Safety, by creating a community where ‘safe’ is just how we work
- Notify Supervisors of safety, environmental, quality and production concerns
- Maintain a clean, presentable environment for ourselves and customers
- Perform and document basic repairs and maintenance of facility equipment
- Fill out daily and weekly reports (To maintain accurate and timely logs)
- Operate the monitoring software for your designated facility to monitor issues and perform maintenance
- Maintain inventory and quality status of all equipment
- Rack, un-rack, reset and organize equipment
- Walk/Work indoors and outdoors sometimes over rough, uneven, or wet/slick surfaces
- Carry up to 30-50 lbs.
- Reach at arm's length to gather samples
- Be in awkward back, shoulder, wrists, and hand positions
- Bend, twist, turn, kneel, and crouch, while holding 10-35 lb objects.
- Receive, inspect, unbox and ship equipment as necessary
- Follow procedures for facility visits, closings, and cleanings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Consistent communication and reporting skills
- The individual must have the ability to be on your feet 7+ hours per day.
- Ability to lift/carry 30-50 lbs.
- Ability to work in various conditions, including both indoor and outdoor environments, and willingness to get your hands dirty when necessary.
- Ideal candidates will have some experience in production, manufacturing, construction, shipping, electrical and/or troubleshooting.
- Safely perform basic electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to be a problem solver, diligent, hard worker, team player, and demonstrate flexibility.
Nice to have:
- Preferred bitcoin mining experience
- Experience with Foreman or similar miner management software
- Keen interest in the blockchain industry
- Knowledge and experience in Internet/ Ethernet Maintenance
