About the Role - Optical Sales

As an Optical Sales specialist you’ll be working closely with patients to help them find the perfect eyewear for their needs and style. The work you do will directly influence our patients' ability to experience life fully - whether it’s seeing their loved ones clearly, appreciating the beauty of the world around them, or feeling great when they catch a glimpse of themselves in the mirror. This is an ideal position for those who are passionate about customer service, have an interest in fashion, and enjoy helping others feel special.

No prior experience is necessary - on-the-job training and continuous education will be provided! Training will be provided at our Rio Rancho location. The specific times will be discussed with the optical manager and scheduled between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that align with their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style preferences.
Educate patients about frame and lens materials, products, and designs to help them make informed choices.
Coordinate eyewear orders, pickups, and deliveries with precision and care.
Adjust frames to ensure a comfortable and proper fit.
Prepare paperwork for patient insurance payments.
Support the team with any additional duties as needed and always maintain a professional and uplifting environment.

Sales and Customer Service Experience - Prior experience in customer service or sales is highly valued.
Bonus Points - Experience in the optical field and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Office Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm and weekends off. This full-time position works five 8.5-hour shifts per week.
