Full Job Description

The ideal candidate is energetic and happy, customer service oriented, enjoys interacting with people, passionate about helping others, and self-motivated

Essential Functions:

Performs a variety of food service functions in maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of food service areas and assisting with food preparation
Responsible for washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed and completing cleaning duties sweeping and mopping, trash removal.

Set up serving carts for each meal as required. Focus on good customer service in regard to food service. Works as part of the Food Services team to ensure smooth, efficient and safe operation of the kitchen. Adheres to prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures. Performs similar or related duties as required or directed

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Ability to interact positively with residents, client and other personnel and the public.
Must be capable of maintaining regular and reliable attendance.
Must meet all state health requirements.
Obtain Food Handlers Permit (as required by state regulations).
Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
Maintains a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
Dependable, with experience working in facilities utilizing quantity food production methods.
Knowledge of quantity food production and serving techniques, food safety/sanitation requirements and procedures.
Ability to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving.
Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
Full time must be available weekends and holidays flexible shifts
Typical hours are anywhere between 6:00am-6:30pm
