Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team! The setting is in a professional medical office next to a membership department store. The position is a perfect fit for a candidate who is friendly, customer service-oriented for 2 days a week and 1-2 Saturdays a month. This energetic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with people, and excels at managing administrative tasks with enthusiasm. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your office management skills and gain valuable experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate staff members with professionalism and courtesy
Handle incoming inquiries via phone, or in person, providing excellent customer support and information
Maintain organized filing systems, data entry records, and ensure accurate documentation of office activities
Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings for staff members
Support office management tasks such as ordering supplies, organizing documents, and proofreading correspondence
Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Office
Proven experience in front desk reception or office administration roles with strong clerical skills
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities in a bilingual environment (Spanish/English or other languages) preferred
Proficiency in computer literacy
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Experience with office management tasks such as filing, proofreading documents, and calendar management
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times
Spanish bilingual is a plus
Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to work independently in a busy setting
