Senior Director of Imaging Services

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid - split between Atlanta and travel to clinic locations 1-2 weeks/month)
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Salary: Up to $150k/year

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Imaging Services to lead the strategic, operational, and financial performance of our enterprise-wide imaging services across multiple locations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing MRI, X-Ray, CT (where applicable), and future imaging service lines while driving operational excellence, quality, compliance, growth, and an exceptional patient experience.

The Senior Director of Imaging Services will collaborate closely with executive leadership, physicians, clinic operations, finance, business development, and IT to build scalable imaging operations that support our continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a transformational healthcare leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and is passionate about developing high-performing teams and delivering measurable results.

What You'll Do:

Develop and execute the strategic vision for imaging services across all locations.
Provide leadership for multi-site imaging operations, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
Standardize workflows, establish performance metrics, and implement best practices to drive operational excellence.
Lead departmental budgeting, capital planning, equipment acquisition, and financial performance initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
Partner with leadership teams to support new clinic openings, imaging service expansion, and organizational growth initiatives.
Identify and implement innovative technologies and operational improvements that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Build, mentor, and develop high-performing imaging leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate across departments to align imaging services with organizational goals and strategic priorities.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate is a strategic healthcare leader with extensive experience leading complex, multi-site imaging operations. You are a collaborative leader with a proven ability to improve operational performance, optimize financial outcomes, and successfully lead organizational growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Radiologic Sciences, or a related field required.
Master's degree (MHA, MBA, or related discipline) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, including responsibility for imaging services.
Demonstrated success managing imaging operations across multiple outpatient, physician practice, or hospital-based locations.
Proven experience in strategic planning, operational improvement, financial management, and organizational growth.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
Experience with regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, quality initiatives, and imaging technologies preferred.
