Front Desk Receptionist - Medical Office

XBody Health & Wellness – Wayne, NJ

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Wayne, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday + 2 Saturdays per month
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience + growth opportunities

About XBody Health & Wellness

XBody Health & Wellness is a growing medical wellness practice in Wayne, New Jersey. We specialize in functional medicine, hormone health, medical weight loss, IV therapy, aesthetics, and personalized wellness programs.

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Medical Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to join our team.

If you enjoy working with people, have strong customer service skills, and like being part of a busy medical office, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients
Answer phone calls and respond to patient questions
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
Help keep provider schedules organized
Collect patient information and update records
Collect payments and process transactions
Assist patients with forms and paperwork
Communicate with providers and clinical staff
Follow up with patients regarding appointments and services
Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day
Keep the front desk and reception area organized and professional
Provide friendly and excellent customer service to every patient

Qualifications

At least 1 year of front desk, receptionist, customer service, or patient coordinator experience preferred
Medical office, wellness, or med spa experience is a plus
Friendly and professional communication skills
Organized and able to handle several tasks at once
Comfortable using computers and scheduling software
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work well as part of a team

Experience with EMR/EHR systems, insurance verification, patient payments, aesthetics, or wellness services is helpful but not required.
