Front Desk Staff – Family Practice (Bilingual English/Spanish Required)

We are a compassionate and growing family medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients of all ages. Our mission is to create a warm, welcoming environment where every patient feels respected and cared for. We are looking for a bilingual Front Desk Staff Member (English and Spanish) to join our friendly team and support our patients and providers with professionalism and care.

Position Summary

As the Front Desk Staff, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You’ll manage front office operations, assist with scheduling and check-ins, and ensure a smooth patient experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced medical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer multi-line phone calls, route messages, and schedule appointments.
Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect copayments or balances.
Accurately enter and update patient information in the electronic medical record system.
Assist with completing patient forms, referrals, and other administrative paperwork.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office environment.
Provide administrative support to medical staff, including calendar and supply management.
Use QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
Previous experience in a medical office or family practice preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Experience with QuickBooks and multi-line phone systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to maintain professionalism under pressure.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a plus.
