Overview

Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. In this vital role, you'll support dentists by providing exceptional chairside assistance, managing patient flow, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry cases. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth clinical flow.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management and aseptic techniques.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) and operate medical imaging devices such as 3D scanners, adhering to all safety protocols and radiation guidelines.
Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Monitor vital signs and document medical information as needed to support comprehensive patient care.
Support patient management by greeting patients, scheduling appointments with dental receptionist skills, and providing clear instructions for post-treatment care.
Maintain clinical cleanliness by processing dental instruments, managing infection control procedures, and ensuring all dental sterilization procedures are followed meticulously.
Assist with dental equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal operation during procedures.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical documentation standards to facilitate effective communication within the team.

Experience

Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred; familiarity with general dentistry procedures is essential.
Proven proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; experience with patient management software is advantageous.
Knowledge of infection prevention policies including HIPAA compliance, aseptic techniques, and sterilization protocols.
Hands-on experience with dental x-ray procedures, oral surgery assistance, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is desirable.
Ability to perform dental instrument processing efficiently while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
Strong understanding of dental equipment operation and maintenance; familiarity with 3D scanners and other advanced imaging tools is a plus.
Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude towards patient care and team collaboration are essential for success in this role.
