We are looking for a GREAT General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of day-to-day operations, driving profitable growth, developing high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of customer excellence and employee engagement.

This role holds full P&L ownership and is accountable for achieving key business objectives through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and talent development. As a key leader the General Manager will drive organic growth initiatives, strengthen market share throughout the service area, and build a best-in-class organization focused on superior customer service, employee development, and operational performance.

This leader will be responsible for creating scalable processes, developing future leaders, and ensuring the company continues its reputation for excellence within the communities it serves.

Key Responsibilities Business Leadership & Growth:

Lead all aspects of business operations with full accountability for financial performance and operational results.
Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, sales optimization, and operational excellence.
Identify and implement initiatives that improve market share, profitability, and customer retention.
Develop and execute growth strategies that support the long-term success

Financial Management:

Maintain full P&L responsibility for the business.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
Revenue growth
Sales conversion rates
Average ticket value
Membership and maintenance plan sales
Employee retention
Customer satisfaction metrics
Gross margin and profitability
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
Ensure disciplined financial management and operational efficiency across all departments.

Team Development & Culture

Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing managers and team members.
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Build leadership capability through mentoring, training, and succession planning.
Champion employee engagement initiatives and improve retention across all levels of the organization.
Establish clear performance expectations and ensure accountability through regular coaching and development.

Customer Experience & Operational Excellence

Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through exceptional service quality and consistency.
Implement systems, processes, and performance metrics that improve productivity and service delivery.
Ensure operational standards, safety requirements, and compliance expectations are achieved and maintained.
Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.

Community & People Leadership

Create a culture of purpose, ownership, and professionalism throughout the organization.
Support employees in achieving personal and professional growth goals.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 8 years of management or supervisory experience with direct responsibility for team leadership and operational performance.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business challenges, assess risk, and develop practical solutions.
Proven success building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
High emotional intelligence and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required

Previous P&L management responsibility.
Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, home services, construction, manufacturing, distribution, or related industries.
Experience leading a service-based organization.
Experience in rapidly growing or multi-location businesses.
Exposure to acquisition integration, business expansion, or organizational transformation initiatives.

Pay Transparency:

The starting average rate for this opportunity ranges from $100k-$170k a year. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.
