Overview
Riverside Fence Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Sales Representative with extensive knowledge of the fencing industry. This is a senior-level position and is not entry-level. We are looking for a professional with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on fencing experience who understands materials, installation methods, job costing, and field operations. The ideal candidate is local to Riverside County and comfortable meeting clients in person, conducting detailed site visits, preparing accurate estimates, writing contracts, and coordinating directly with installation crews to ensure projects are completed efficiently and profitably. This position plays a critical role in upholding our company’s long-standing reputation for quality workmanship, accuracy, and professionalism across both residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with inbound leads and clients on-site to assess fencing needs
- Conduct precise field measurements and prepare detailed estimates
- Draft and present written proposals, bids, and contracts
- Accurately price projects based on materials, labor, and scope of work
- Walk projects with installers and foremen prior to and during installation
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and field crews
- Ensure projects remain aligned with agreed scope, timeline, and budget
- Identify opportunities for additional services or project enhancements
- Represent Riverside Fence Co., Inc. with professionalism in the community
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the fencing industry (required)
- Strong working knowledge of wood, vinyl, chain link, wrought iron, and custom fencing systems
- Experience with both residential and commercial fencing projects preferred
- Ability to read site plans and interpret project specifications
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, profitable estimates
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Must be local to Riverside County and familiar with the surrounding areas
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking active job sites

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is competitive and based on experience. The structure may include base salary plus commission or commission-based pay, depending on qualifications.
