Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments and holistic care to promote healing, pain relief, and overall wellness for our diverse patient population. Your expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), anatomy, physiology, and herbal medicine will be essential in delivering comprehensive patient care. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring each patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate care in a welcoming environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' health and well-being.

Responsibilities

Perform acupuncture treatments targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and other musculoskeletal issues.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnosis and health goals, integrating herbal medicine techniques when appropriate.
Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient interactions accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.
Apply aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during all procedures, prioritizing patient safety at all times.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists to coordinate care strategies.
Educate patients on pain management techniques, self-care practices, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing wellness.
Stay current with medical terminology, pain medicine advancements, and TCM practices to continually enhance your skills and knowledge base.

Experience

Valid licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist in accordance with state or national certification requirements.
Proven experience in acute pain management and trigger point therapy with a track record of successful client outcomes.
Strong understanding of healthcare diagnosis processes, physical examinations, and client communication skills.
Hands-on experience using EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently.
Knowledge of herbal medicine techniques and their application within acupuncture treatments.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain medicine, anatomy, physiology, and TCM principles.
Prior experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting with an emphasis on client-centered service.
