Full Job Description

Wire Harness and Electronics Assembler

The Wire Harness and Electronics Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical wire harnesses and related components used in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong manual dexterity, the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics, use a computer, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Maintains good housekeeping practice and ensures that company policies and safety rules are followed by any task assigned. Responsibilities also include any other assignments provided by the immediate Supervisor.

Duties:

· Ensure on-time clocking and reporting to workstation.

· Assemble electrical wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and related electrical components according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.

· Use computer softwares to program and flash electronic components.

· Cut, strip, crimp, solder, bundle, and route wires using hand and power tools.

· Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions.

· Identify and report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors.

· Follow all company safety procedures, electrical safety standards, and manufacturing protocols.

· Document production output and log completed work orders; maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines.

· Increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.

· Complete other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

· Basic computer skills (database management, word processing and spreadsheet).

· Ability to sit or stand for long periods during assembly operations.

· Good vision and hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity for detailed assembly work.

· Ability to perform repetitive hand movements throughout the workday.

· Experience using hand tools, crimpers, wire cutters, soldering tools, and testing equipment.

· Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
