SENIOR ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

(FINANCE DEPARTMENT)

SALARY RANGE$70,166.35 - $87,628.15 Annually$5,847.20 - $7,302.35 Monthly$33.73 - $42.13 Hourly
BENEFITS- 4-Day Work Week - 11 Paid Holidays + 1 Floating Holiday- 3.5% COLA on July 1, 2026 are in addition to regularly scheduled merit increases that are dependent on performance- $2,721.01 Monthly Benefit Allowance towards Medical, Dental, and Vision starting 2026- Employer Contribution to a Health Reimbursement Account upon completion of fifth year- Pension through CalPERS - 457 Deferred Compensation Plan through Voya Financial - 200% Employer Contribution Match to a 457 Plan up to $3,000 per year- Professional Development with Breaking the Chain Consulting- $2,500 Educational Reimbursement per Fiscal Year
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Graduation from high school or satisfactory equivalent, supplemented by college level coursework in accounting or related field.
EXPERIENCE: Three years of general or accounting experience, including some statistical or financial record keeping. Municipal experience is highly desirable. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
