Full Job Description

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Inbound Life Insurance Phone Representatives.

You will communicate with consumers who have requested information about life insurance coverage. Your role will be to understand why they are seeking protection, answer their questions, review available policy options, and assist eligible customers with the application process.

This is an entry-level opportunity. Previous insurance experience is not necessary because structured training, call guidance, and ongoing coaching will be provided.

Key Duties

Receive calls from prospective customers seeking life insurance information.
Speak with each caller in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.
Identify the caller’s coverage needs by asking appropriate questions.
Provide straightforward explanations of available life insurance products.
Assist customers in selecting an option based on their individual situation.
Walk eligible applicants through the required enrollment steps.
Collect and verify customer information accurately.
Document conversations, updates, and follow-up activity in the company CRM.
Maintain communication with customers when additional information is needed.
Follow approved scripts, company procedures, and industry compliance standards.
Attend required meetings, coaching sessions, and training activities.
Meet established expectations for attendance, productivity, and call quality.

Candidate Requirements

Previous insurance or telephone sales experience is not required.
Clear and confident communication skills.
Strong listening and customer-service abilities.
Comfortable handling frequent phone conversations.
Willingness to learn and apply feedback from management.
Dependable, organized, and able to remain focused throughout the day.
Ability to work effectively in a goal-oriented team environment.
Basic knowledge of computers and online systems.
Strong attention to detail when entering customer information.
Ability to follow established call procedures and compliance rules.
An active life insurance license is helpful but not required to apply.

Successful candidates are personable, disciplined, and comfortable starting conversations with new people. They should be able to build rapport, communicate complicated information in an understandable way, and remain professional during every customer interaction.

Candidates must also be open to coaching and willing to follow a structured process.

Training and Development

New representatives will receive training in areas such as:

Life insurance terminology and policy basics
Identifying customer needs
Managing inbound conversations
Asking effective qualifying questions
Explaining coverage clearly
Completing applications
Using the customer management system
Following privacy and compliance standards

Workplace Expectations

This role involves extensive telephone communication and regular computer use. Representatives are expected to maintain accurate records, stay engaged during scheduled working hours, and contribute to a professional and productive team environment.
