Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages with professionalism and flair
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit payments securely
- Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, beverage mixing, and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements effectively
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other POS platforms
- Culinary experience or beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink service techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle money responsibly
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for order calculations and billing procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with reservation management tools such as OpenTable is desirable
- Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences
